Studio Day with IvoryFlame | Aylesbury Bucks

Boudoir photography in Aylesbury Bucks with model IvoryFlame

Boudoir Photography Session

Are you a photographer who always fancied trying a studio shoot but don’t know where to start? Perhaps you are nervous about directing a model or uncertain about how to set up and operate studio flash. If so this is an opportunity not to be missed!

We are holding a studio day on Saturday 25th February with the lovely IvoryFlame. Ivory flame is a local professional model who is a delight to work with and quite capable of posing without direction, leaving you free to concentrat on composition. You do not even need to worry about lighting. One of our professional photographers will be there to provide as much or as little help as you need to get things the way you want. This is a great chance to add some stunning photos to your portfolio and discover that a studio session can be fun too.

The cost is just £45 an hour for both the studio and IvoryFlame, who will be working up to tasteful nude. That is an hour of model photography on a 1 to 1 basis. No waiting for your turn as part of a large group!

Our Photographic Studio is in Stoke Mandeville near Aylesbury Bucks, withing easy reach of Tring, Thame, Princess Risborough and Wendover in Buckinghamshire as well as Chinnor Oxon. With a mainline station nearby even those further away or without personal transport can take advantage of this offer.

Slots available from 9:30am. Phone 01296 615631 or email info@immortaleye.co.uk to book or ask and questions.

Congratulations to our ‘Apprentice’ of getting his licentiate

With all the shoots going on up to Xmas an unexpected piece of surprise good news passed by without the congratulations deserved. Just before Xmas our apprentice photographer Nils submitted a selection of images to the SIFGP (Society of Internation Fashion and Glamour Photographers) for a mentoring program. The normal process is for them to assess the images then write back with a critique of the photos, along with advice on where improvement is needed before submitting for one of the professional awards.

Nils was braced for a shock when the letter arrived but not the one he received. It turned out that the reviewers were so impressed by the initial images they decide to skip the normal process and submit them directly for the Licentiate qualification. Which they passed with glowing comments.

So a belated congratulations to Nils Bratby LSIFGP.

See your print on your own wall

Trying  to imagine what that  gorgeous photo will look like on your wall while viewing it at the studio can sometimes prove difficult. Well we have just introduced the solution at our studio! Bring us a photograph of the wall where you are thinking of hanging your image and we can show you what it will look like in place and at the correct proportions. No guessing or trying to figure out the best size with a sheet of newspaper and blue-tak! We can even show you how groups of photos would look and swap the frames around so you can see the results of different options.

All we need to work our magic is a photo of your wall with something like a ruler or piece of A4 paper on view we can use to ensure the correct scale. Of course you will need to book your portrait session with us to take advantage of this free service.

New website

Welcome to our new site

Baron Bratby (Photographer)

We have been talking about it for a little while and it has taken longer than expected to find what we wanted but at last the new site is here!  All my rambling missives have gone, replaced by what you expect from a photographer. Photos.

Gone too are the video slide shows, at least from the main pages. In future we will post them as blogs and leave you to decide if you want to watch them.

Our intention is that the new design will be quicker to load and simpler to use. A better showcase for our images and an easier site for customers to find the information they need about our services.
